The Quinta (Tavira)

The location :

The house is situated in eastern Algarve. To give you an idea, we are situated more or less at 3 km from the sea and several beautiful white sand beaches.

Faro, the capital of the region is 30 km away when you drive West….. The Spanish boarder is at the same distance if you feel like going East to Seville (1,30h by car). In both cases the access to the motorway is very easy… and if you want to stop on the way and play golf, two brand new courses will be happy to greet you.

The House :

The house itself is a traditional Algarve style farm house built in 1915. Of course it has been totaly restored in the past few years. Everything is new, including the roof, plumbing, and eletrical needs.

The general layout of the house is on a 300sqm surface. Each one of the 4 comfortable rooms has its private bathroom. When you leave your room, you are greeted by a large living room, a dining room, and a kitchen. There is also a large utility/wash room adjacent to the house.

The house is surrounded by large terraces. Leaving them behind and walking through the garden, where stands an old tipical portuguese well, you get to the  house’s attractive swimming pool.

The garden :

The garden is a wash of all kinds of trees from the region including fruit trees : lemon, orange, fig, apricot etc… Theyprovide a superb natural aroma during all seaons.

The annexe house :

Within the ground of the estate, very near the main house, but out of sight, there is a lovely annexe house that can be used as a guest house. It has a nice sized bedroom with a bathroom, a lounge and a kitchen. On the other side of the house’s private garden, 20m away, there are 2 seperate wooden cabins and each has its private bathroom . There is privacy for all in this charming place.

Therefore there is a total of 7 rooms with private bathrooms in the estate.
